Good Morning Family Smoothie

This recipe is a favourite family-friendly way to enjoy sprouts. Don’t let the green colour deter you – it is delicious, and provides a sustaining energy boost for your day!

Blend up:
  • 1/3 - 1/2 Clamshell container of sprouts (try alfalfa or clover for starters, and maybe avoid radish or garlic!)
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1 Apple
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (careful, no seeds - they are bitter!)
  • 1 Cup of water (or more)
  • Alternative fruits, veggies or seeds: berries, dates, cucumber, asparagus, hemp seeds, chia etc
